Nebraska Football could certainly use the depth for the future.

Nebraska Football has some big-time recruits coming in this weekend. One of them is 2020 four- star receiver LV Bunkley-Shelton

Bunkley-Shelton is ranked as the 34th wide receiver recruit in his class, and the 16th overall player in the state of California per the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He has many major offers on the table. In addition to Nebraska, Ohio State, Texas, and USC have also extended offers his way.

Most recently, he took an official visit to Nebraska on Monday.

According to his 247Sports profile, his National Football League comparison would be New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman. That is certainly not a bad comparison to have.

I definitely see where the Edelman comparisons are coming from. He is very efficient with the way he moves and he runs his routes really well. He has quick feet, and he is not afraid to drop down and settle in at the top of his route. That quickness will undoubtedly translate well to the college game. These days, being a receiver is not just about how fast you can run, but how precise you can run your routes. A well-run route could help get the entire passing game going.

Bunkley-Shelton is excited for this weekend against Ohio State. This is a perfect game for all the major recruits to come out to. Memorial Stadium will be rocking, they will be under the Saturday night lights, and it will just be a great atmosphere. I am looking forward to it as well. It has been a long time since Nebraska has had a game with such big implications. As he told Parker Gabriel of the Lincoln Journal Star, he is definitely excited for the atmosphere.

"“I can’t wait for this weekend. I know the atmosphere is gonna be bananas,” four-star wide receiver Lavon Bunkley-Shelton told the Journal Star on Tuesday morning while confirming he’ll be on an official visit."

I’m excited that he will be in Lincoln. He is a receiver that Nebraska Football can use as they look to reload the position. It’s going to be a wild weekend for recruiting, and if the current Nebraska squad can make a good impression on recruits, who knows what that will lead to.

Things are really looking up for Nebraska Football. Hopefully, all of this will pay off in the next couple of years. I can’t wait to see what Nebraska is bringing to the table, and what’s in store. Hopefully, success will follow suit.
