A Nebraska Football target is set to visit this weekend.
Nebraska Football is set to have many visitors come to Lincoln this weekend, and one of them is an intriguing wide receiver prospect. Ajou Ajou will visit Lincoln as Nebraska continues to make efforts in improving their roster via recruiting. He is set to visit on Friday.
Ajou is a 2020 three-star prospect and hails from Brooks, AB. It’s not too often that we see a Canadian football prospect with a ton of potential, but Ajou hopes to break that mold. He played his high school football at Clearwater Academy international, and is ranked the 95th overall player in Alberta per the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

He has been a highly sought-after prospect. In addition to Nebraska, Alabama, Clemson, Penn State, and Washington State have all extended offers his way. For Nebraska, he is being recruited by secondary coach Travis Fisher and offensive coordinator Troy Walters.
What could he bring to Nebraska? For one, he has very quick feet and can make cuts with ease. That is going to be a crucial part of his game at the collegiate level. He does not have the speed to solely rely on that. He is not painfully slow, but speed is definitely not one of his better assets. Measuring in at six-foot-three, 210 pounds he is definitely the type of receiver that can be used in the red zone as well as potential after- the-catch plays. He would fit in the Nebraska football offense very nicely.
Wide receiver is definitely going to be a need. Mike Williams is a senior, and J. D. Spielman certainly can leave for the NFL Draft. Spielman has enough potential to do so. Nebraska Football needs insurance in case that becomes the plan of action. Ajou would certainly not be a centerpiece to build around, but he would be a nice complementary piece for the offense.
In what should be an exciting recruiting weekend, Ajou is definitely a name to watch. He could be a nice piece for the future, and give Scott Frost and Adrian Martinez more weapons to work with. The head coach has made it clear that he wants to surround Adrian Martinez with weapons. Ajou would certainly fit into that category. He has enough talent to be able to make a name for himself both within the program and within the conference. He may not be a player that grabs headlines all the time, but he could carve himself a niche in the Nebraska offense.
