He will be representing Nebraska Football on a big stage.

Twice appears to be nice for Nebraska Football as for the second straight year, they are sending a member of their roster to the All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas. Lineman Turner Corcoran has been invited to play in the game in January.

Last year, Nebraska Football was well-represented as they had four recruits playing in the game. Bryce Benhart, Ty Robinson, and Wandale Robinson all played in the game last year. Noa Pola-Gates also played in the star-studded affair, but he was not committed to Nebraska yet. It was at this game where the hype for Robinson continued to grow. He put on a show, showing off his athleticism and making several strong plays. It only made Nebraska Football fans more excited and gave them hope that they were getting an explosive player.

More from Husker Corner

Corcoran should have many opportunities to show off his skills. Last year, offense was the name of the game as the East Team beat the West Team by a 48-14 score. Particularly for the East team, offensive lineman were important in that game, as that allowed the quarterbacks to show what they were made of. It also improved the stock of the lineman as well. Regardless of the score, it was a successful game, and I was able to see the slew of potential talent college football will have to offer.

Corcoran is a player that can shape the offensive line for years to come. Measuring in at six-foot-six, 280 pounds, he is truly a force to be reckoned with. You don’t to see this too often when it comes to recruiting, but he is undoubtedly a staple of Nebraska Football’s 2020 class. They will certainly need him on the line in years to come, particularly with the pedigree of quarterbacks and running backs they are trying to bring in.

I’m interested to see if other Nebraska Football recruits will get an invite to this game. The game itself certainly carries a lot of weight, as many prospects choose to commit during it, and it gives fans with commitments in the game a chance to see what their favorite programs have done. Corcoran figures to be in the middle of everything, and the fact that he has received an invite for this game speaks to the level of talent he has. He is certainly a special player and I can’t wait to see what he does once he comes to Lincoln.
