1. Away against Colorado Buffaloes , 2:30 CT on September 7 :

The Nebraska-Colorado game is already generating a ton of buzz. Don’t tell me there is no rivalry when it comes to these two teams. Representatives from Colorado are already trying to keep the Nebraska fans from coming to the game. That should make for a ton of bad blood leading up to the contest.

Colorado beat Nebraska in Lincoln by a 33-28 score on September 8. Quarterback Stephen Montez had a great game, going 33-of-50 and throwing for 351 yards and three touchdowns. He is  a quarterback Nebraska defense will have to watch. He had a great year in 2018, throwing for 2, 849 yards and 19 touchdowns. He is going to be a guy that  the Nebraska defense will have to keep a spy on. He is tough, and he has a decent arm.

Laviska Shenault Jr. is an explosive receiver, and he showed it last year. He recorded 1,011 receiving yards and six touchdowns. In the game against Nebraska, he tore the secondary up. Catching 10 passes for 177 yards and a touchdown, he was a huge reason why Colorado won that game.

Defensive end Mustafa Johnson is going to be a player that the Nebraska Football offensive line should watch out for. He recorded 7.5 sacks last year. He to tore up Nebraska, recording two sacks in the game. Also, don’t forget about Junior linebacker Nate Landman. He led the team with two interceptions last year. He recorded eight tackles in Colorado’s victory.

This is a rivalry that is set to continue in the fall. Winning this game would be a huge boost for the Nebraska Football program as they look to set the tone early. This is a game that could put several Nebraska Football players on the national radar. As it is, Nebraska football does not a get a ton of respect nationally. A win here would hopefully change all of that.
