Heinrich could come back soon

Nick Heinrich could come back soon. That is the biggest thing that Frost of the media in his press conference on Thursday. This would be huge for Nebraska Football, as they are counting on him to have a big year.

Frost indicated that he doesn’t think Heinrich will be out for an extended period of time. The good news in regards to the disappointment of an injury is that Nebraska Football has depth in case Heinrich cannot come back right away. Obviously, you want to see him back right away, but they have the ability to not rush him back. That is most important as I would love to see him fully healthy before he thinks about making a comeback.

My guess is that he will be healthy again by the end of July and be ready to go just before the real fun begins in August. That the most ideal situation, but you never know when it comes to recovery. In any event, Nebraska football would love to have him back but they should not rush him. It sounds like it will not be long before he sees the field again however, so that is certainly the biggest take away from Thursday’s press conference and something to be excited about moving forward.
