The Nebraska Football coach had a lot to say.

Nebraska Football head coach Scott Frost spoke to the media on Thursday  in what was a very revealing interview. No, no major program secrets were divulged, but we did get an idea about the current state of the team. With new faces coming to Lincoln, injuries healing up, and the start of football still a couple months away, there was certainly a lot to think and talk about. Speaking at an event along with the rest of the Nebraska Athletics coaches, we got a little insight into the current state of Nebraska football.

There were many positive things. It makes sense, given that Nebraska Football has been on an upward trajectory over the past year. If anything, reading the quotes and snippets from the day gave me additional hope for the 2019 season. This season should prove to be successful, and is in large part thanks to Frost himself along with his staff. Now, the real fun will be trying to mold all of these parts together to create a cohesive unit. There is no doubt that individually, many of these players can be successful. However, there is no “I” in team.

Without further ado, I take a look at the three biggest takeaways I got from Scott Frost talking to the media Thursday.
