Nebraska Basketball is being rebuilt.

Fred Hoiberg and his staff have recruited at a tremendous pace. The coaching staff wants to leave their mark on the program early, and get players in Lincoln that can make an impact right away. This is something that should set up Nebraska Basketball  for the future, and honestly I can’t blame them. They want to start anew as Nebraska Basketball looks to enter a transitional period. However, unlike most transitional periods, I think this one will be successful, partly due to the work that this coaching staff has done.

Over the last couple of weeks, we have seen an incredible amount of roster turnover. Most of it is expected as players that were here under Tim Miles want new opportunities. In the meantime, the coaching staff has filled those voids nicely. With a mix of veteran talent, in-state recruits, and community college transfers, this team has experience from all over. The diversity of talent and the amount of quality playmakers on the roster should be able to make a difference for this program in the near future.

Without further ado, I take a look at my three takeaways from what Fred Hoiberg and his staff have done so far recruiting-wise
