These Nebraska Football players are trending up after spring ball.

Nebraska Football has certainly had a busy spring. With many new faces vying for new positions on the roster, Scott Frost and his coaching staff have had a lot of work to do. So far, the team has responded well as many unexpected names have stepped up and fought hard for their place on the roster. That is what spring ball is all about, and it culminated with the Spring Game on Saturday. There, we saw those same unheralded faces shine as Nebraska Football put together what was a successful day overall. There were certainly some things to work on as a result of Saturday’s action, but that is why practice is essential.

Perhaps one of the most satisfying things was seeing the culmination of all the players’ efforts over the course of the spring. Especially in terms of the running backs and wide receivers. Generally speaking,  there have definitely been some names that have stepped up as inevitable graduations and transfers enter and exit the program. Even with the offense having a great day on Saturday, the defense had a solid showing as well. That side of the football has been working hard to be better than last year. They weren’t necessarily terrible last year, but they certainly needed to clean up some things. Especially on the defensive line, it has been understood there needs to be a concerted effort to be better.

With that in mind, I take a look at three Nebraska Football players whose stock is trending up after this spring.
