Here is what I hope they can do for Nebraska Football Saturday.

With the Spring Game occurring on Saturday, all eyes will be on Memorial Stadium as Nebraska Football looks to embark on another 2019 season. It will be a fun day for everyone, as the roster looks to compete against each other in a scrimmage that will be attended by 80,000-plus. Nevertheless, despite the fun that is sure to be had on Saturday, it will be a day of competition for the players on the field. In a crowded quarterback room, competition is exactly what’s needed in order to separate the contenders from the ones who may not be there yet.

Led by Adrian Martinez, the quarterbacks are a very talented group on the roster. With incoming freshmen Luke McCaffrey perhaps one of the more hyped-up prospects in the 2019 class, there is certainly no shortage of skill at the position. Let’s not forget about Andrew Bunch and Noah Verdal who look to make a mark of their own, as they try to show that they belong in the conversation as well. Matt Masker should not be forgotten either. Although he is on the outside looking in when it comes to this slideshow, he could still make life interesting for this positional group as they look to get the depth chart straightened out.

I take a look at what to watch for from the quarterbacks on Saturday as the Red-White Game is almost upon us.
