Nebraska Football: Spring Game rosters preview exciting Saturday
The official Red-White Spring Game rosters were announced for Nebraska Football.
The Spring Game rosters are officially announced for Saturday, and they are absolutely stacked. Nebraska Football is certain to put on a good show, as both rosters feature tons of talent. You can view them in their entirety here.
The Red Team is headlined by upperclassmen such as Adrian Martinez and Mohamed Barry. Youngsters also make an appearance on the roster as the likes of wide receivers Jamie Nance and Kade Warner will also be there. It is interesting that they are paired with Martinez. Maybe, the coaches wanted to pair them together in order to get some work in with the starting quarterback. That makes the most sense to me. Mike Williams will also be on the Red Team, adding some veteran leadership to the passing game.

Watch out for running backs Brody Belt and Wyatt Mazour on Saturday as well. Defensively for the Red Team, Tyrin Ferguson, Cam Taylor and Alex Davis lead the way. That is a stacked defense if I do say so myself. Colin Miller JoJo Domann, and Marquel Dismuke will also look to lend support for the Red Team. Having both the Daniels and Davis brothers on the team should make things difficult for the opposition.
The White Team also has tremendous talent on display. Luke McCaffrey is the top quarterback on the White Team in a game that could actually mean something to him. This is his chance to show what he can do with the offense. Jaylin Bradley is also on the roster. Perhaps a McCaffrey-Bradley pairing will do well for the development for both of them. I know it’s only the spring game, but repetition and familiarity have to start somewhere. This is a perfect opportunity for the both of them.
Defensively, Garrett Nelson and Brent Banks are two players that are going to be worth watching. They want to make an impact as soon as possible in Lincoln. Now is their chance. Jeremiah Stovall is another player that will be worth watching. He could be an additional piece to a secondary that looks to be deep in the upcoming season.
The red team has the advantage both in terms of talent and explosiveness. They should be able to pull out a win on Saturday. More importantly, I hope no one gets hurt, everyone gets a chance to show what they can do, and everyone has fun. That is what Spring Game is all about. In front of a packed Memorial Stadium, that will make it even better for the players. Be loud and be proud on Saturday.
