Here are some things to watch for Nebraska Basketball  as the NIT Tournament gets underway.

Wednesday means the start of the NIT Tournament for Nebraska basketball. Although it is not the ultimate goal they wanted to reach, it is still something to play for as a veteran group looks to officially end the season the right way. With tough competition in this tournament as well, this will be no cakewalk. Throughout the course of the season, we have seen Nebraska basketball respond well to tough competition. Although there may have been a few bumps in the road along the way, this past week has shown that they are not afraid to take on a challenge.

This is a team with nothing to lose and everything to gain. With a solid group of playmakers who also happen to be seniors, they have the experience to go deep into this tournament. For head coach Tim Miles, a NIT championship trophy would be a nice addition to his Nebraska basketball trophy case. It should be an exciting couple of days as this group of underdogs lives to see another postseason tournament. Who knows? They certainly have the talent to make a noise in this tournament and ruin the dreams of the other teams competing.

Without further ado, we take a look at three things to watch for in the upcoming tournament.
