T.J. Otzelberger

When it comes to the coaching carousel in college basketball, there is no question that T.J. Otzelberger is going to be one of the hot names following March Madness.

After serving as an assistant coach at Iowa State and Washington, in addition to being a former high school head coach, Otzelberger has been the head coach at South Dakota State the past three seasons and has put together an impressive resume.

The Jackrabbits are 70-31 under Otzelberger and have won the Summit tournament championship two years running while also winning the regular season title the past two seasons, clinching this seasons with a 14-2 record.

Otzelberger has already led SDSU to the NCAA tournament twice in two years and if his team can get it done at the Summit tournament, which it is favored to do, that will be three straight years.

Obviously, there will be a hot market for Otzelberger and if some bigger schools come calling, the Huskers could miss out. But if Miles is let go, Otzelberger should definitely be on speed dial.
