It was a big day for the Nebraska Football program.
Nebraska Football held their Pro Day on Thursday, giving players who are not invited to the NFL combine a chance to shine. Shine they did, as there were several names that improved their draft stock in front of 29 NFL Scouts. It was a chance to show what they were capable of before the draft in April. One thing is for certain, Nebraska football is losing a lot of talent. However, we wish them much success in the professional ranks and hope that they will be able to represent Nebraska football well.
That is exactly what they did on Thursday. All participants came ready to give it their all, and many put up impressive numbers. If anything, this speaks to the kind of talent the Nebraska football program has producing. That should not change under head coach Scott Frost and the coaching staff as they appear to be on a roll on the recruiting trail. Landing several talented recruits, that should only bode well for them.
With Pro Day concluded, we give our three takeaways from the media reports of Pro Day and what it could mean for the prospective draft picks moving forward. Best of luck to all players in next month’s draft.
