Robinson can start at RB/WR

It remains to be seen exactly where the Huskers are going to play Wandale Robinson but we should get a better idea this spring as Robinson has enrolled early.

With Devine Ozigbo graduating at running back and with Maurice Washington’s status suddenly up in the air, Robinson could be the Huskers starting running back next season, although he’s not necessarily a bell-cow running back.

Dedrick Mills is a guy that could be the traditional running back and could split time with Robinson there, while Robinson also plays snaps in the slot as a wide receiver. That’s a spot where he could be even more dangerous.

Certainly, Frost has big plans for the No. 2 all-purpose running back in the country and you kind of expect Nebraska to do something similar to what Purdue did last season with Rondale Moore. Not matter how Robinson is used, I’m confident he will play enough to be considered a starter when the season begins in September.
