How ready are some of these 2019 recruits?

When the Huskers were all finished with the 2019 recruiting class, Nebraska ranked 19th in the country according to 247 sports, while also putting together the top class in the Big Ten West and the fourth-best class overall in the Big Ten.

Of the 26 players signed by Nebraska football, seven of them will take part in spring ball next week and when it comes to the offensive side of the ball, there are three big-name players that will be competing right away.

Robinson is a name to watch at running back/wide receiver. He’s already a fan favorite and a guy fans will certainly want to see during the open parts of practice. Yet, another guy to keep an eye on is Luke McCaffrey. He was one of the best athletes in the class but is supposed to play quarterback for the Huskers.

We will see if he can push for the backup job or if Nebraska gets tempted to move him elsewhere for a season or two. Incoming athlete Jaime Nance, who will play wide receiver, is another guy that could emerge in the wide receiver competition. On the other side of the ball, top defensive recruit Nick Henrich will go through spring practice and it will be interesting to see how he holds up.
