Huskers will have a top offense in Big Ten

It’s hard to predict exactly how good the Huskers will be on offense, especially when it comes to points and yards. Yet, I would expect Nebraska to get even better and this was a unit that had 400 yards in eight of its last nine games last season.

Having a veteran quarterback is huge for any offense and after a season of starting experience under his belt, Martinez will be that presence. Frost will also be in his second season coaching in the program and that should also help the Huskers take a leap on the offensive side of the ball.

But, Nebraska football still may not have the best offense in the Big Ten next season. Ohio State, with Georgia QB Justin Fields coming in, will be right there and with a new offensive coordinator for Michigan, as well as a bunch of returning talent, the Wolverines should be good too.

Yet, after those two units, the Huskers should be as good as anyone and who knows, it’s entirely possible that Nebraska football has the best offense in the Big Ten next season.
