Nebraska football has lots of reasons to be excited about the offense heading into 2019 and here are five bold predictions for the Huskers.

Right now, there is a lot of hype surrounding the Nebraska football program. Not only have the Huskers been named as a trendy pick for the playoffs but Adrian Martinez is also getting Heisman publicity already.

With a full offseason to work with head coach Scott Frost and get familiar with the offense, Martinez should be set up to have a huge season for the Huskers. He also has some stellar weapons coming back such as JD Spielman.

While the offense ran into some issues last season, the Huskers finished strong. Nebraska football owned an 0-6 record at one point, however, won four of their last six games to wind up 4-8.

What was even more impressive than that was the way the offense played down the stretch for Nebraska. In eight of the last nine games, the Huskers went over 400 yards of total offense. Nebraska also put together impressive offensive performances against Ohio State and Iowa, the two best teams on the closing part of the schedule.

While players like Stanley Morgan Jr.and Devine Ozigbo will be gone, the Huskers return two of their offensive stars in Martinez and Spielman, while also bringing back an experienced offensive line.

In the second season under Frost, the offense should flourish in his system and with that in mind, here are five predictions for the Huskers in 2020.
