Focusing in on 2021 and 2022
Certainly, Nebraska football is going to be focused on the 2020 recruiting class, especially after it wraps up work on 2019 this week, however, recruiting is always about being a step ahead and on that front, the Huskers are already looking towards 2021 and 2022.
Over the weekend, the Huskers welcomed three players in to visit from those classes, including two more targets from St. Louis is Travion Ford and Gabriel Rubio, two impressive looking prospects on the defensive line.
Ford is a 6-foot-4 defensive end that already has offers from Alabama and LSU, among many others and Rubio is a 6-foot-5 defensive tackle that recently made unofficial visits to Notre Dame and Ohio State.
2022 running back Arlen Harris Jr. is also from the same school in St. Louis and he also visited Nebraska this weekend. He’s listed as an athlete and also has offers from Iowa, LSU and Illinois among others.
Obviously, this weekend was just the beginning in a lot of recruiting battles, but at the very least, we can get an idea of the Huskers battle plan going forward when it comes to 2020 and beyond.
