Nebraska football still has three scholarships to give out and here are a few guys the Huskers would love to bring into the fold on national signing day.

National Signing Day is coming up this week for college football and even though it’s not as big a deal as it used to be, Nebraska football has some key targets remaining.

Since the early signing day in late December, Nebraska football has been busier than a lot of other programs. The Huskers have been pursuing a number of players from the 2019 class and are seeking key additions on both offense and defense.

One of the things Nebraska has wanted to add is a pass rusher and for much of this period, the Huskers zeroed in on Dylan Jordan, a three-star pass rusher from Kansas. Jordan was a late riser but he chose TCU despite Nebraska closing strong.

Now, with less than a week to go before players can sign again, Nebraska still has a few irons in the fire and another spot the Huskers have been trying to address is wide receiver. Another tough loss was Charles Njoku who ended up choosing UCLA instead of NU.

Even if Nebraska strikes out on all the remaining guys, 2019 has already been a success in terms of recruiting, especially with the addition of Noa Pola-Gates, who actually signed with the Huskers in December but waited until this month to announce.

The bottom line is that this class is one of the best in the Big Ten or the country and here are a few recruiting battles to watch this week that could make it even better.
