Nebraska Football may have found a gem here in Robinson.

Wandale Robinson continues to be making a name for himself and the Nebraska football commit hasn’t even arrived at Nebraska yet. One of the nation’s most respected recruiting news sites increased his ranking.

247Sports released a new addition of their latest recruiting rankings on Wednesday, and Robinson certainly moved up. Prior to the new rankings release, he was rated No. 117 in his class. With the new rankings, he moved up to No. 40.

The excitement surrounding Robinson stems from media reports and highlight tapes. He also did himself a favor at the 2019 US Army All-American Bowl. There, he made several flashy plays that left many of the nation’s top recruits in the dust. His shiftiness and quickness was on full display as he made Nebraska football fans excited with every cut and move.  Between his kickoff return, six-yard run, and 35-yard catch, his skill set was on full display at the game.

Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports had nothing but great things to say about Robinson in his review of the prospect. While reading this, I could envision Robinson making tremendous plays in Lincoln for Nebraska football. He will certainly be exciting to watch on Saturdays and could be a hallmark recruit in what is already a talented 2019 class. The program may have gotten a true playmaker in Robinson.

"“An instinctive runner that is just as dangerous as a pass receiver,” 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong wrote. “Robinson is one of the most dynamic players in the country in the 2019 recruiting class. Has good speed, quickness, burst, and the ability to pull away from defenders. Brings a ton of versatility to any offense. Can line up in numerous places to create mismatches or open things up for teammates.”"

I’m almost getting to the point where I am tired of writing about him coming to campus and theorizing what he can do. I just want to see him play. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy writing about him, but now I want to see him in action. He has the potential to fit very well in the wide-open Big Ten Conference, one that is full of offense and impact playmakers on both sides of the football. He has the skill set and potential to find his name the mix as one of the top catalysts in the conference. With all of the talent in the Big Ten, that would certainly be some good company.

The future is bright for Robinson as a member of the Nebraska football program. He has the skill set and speed to really make an impact. As it looks right now, the future is very bright for both Robinson and the program.
