Nebraska Football will be counting on JD Spielman heavily.

Nebraska football is going to have a new-look passing offense in 2019. With departures due to graduation, the wide receivers will look different as well. One player who is not going anywhere is wideout JD Spielman. The junior from Eden Prairie,  Minnesota looks to build off a successful 2018 campaign where he began to establish himself as a viable option in the Nebraska passing attack. Recording impressive numbers as a sophomore, he successfully avoided the sophomore slump.

He will have to be a leader for a wide receiver unit that is lacking experience at the moment. That is a lot to ask of a player, but if there is a guy that can do it, it is him. He has a wide variety of skills that have been crucial to his success so far. Generally speaking, they give defenders fits. He needs to be able to show that he can take over games consistently. If he can do that, there will be many happy Saturdays in Lincoln ahead.

Without further ado, we make three bold predictions for JD Spielman in order of difficulty. Although some may seem a little bit crazy at the moment, as Spielman showed last year, he has tremendous potential.
