Nebraska Basketball takes on Penn State Thursday night at the Vault, here is how to watch and stream, plus predictions and storylines.

The restart of Big Ten play has not been kind to Nebraska basketball, which comes into tonight’s game with Penn State on a two-game losing streak.

Siting at 1-3 in the conference isn’t exactly what Tim Miles and the Huskers had in mind, but after a 0-3 start on the road in the Big Ten, that’s right where Nebraska basketball sits.

Of course, none of the losses were bad losses. Nebraska lost at Minnesota, at Maryland and at Iowa — three teams that are contending for NCAA tournament berths just like Nebraska. However, losing three straight games on the road in league play isn’t a good look.

Unfortunately, the Huskers can’t rectify that tonight against Penn State. But they can get things back on track with a much-needed win. The reality is that after a poor start in the Big Ten, this is akin to a must-win game for Nebraska. A loss to Penn State and NU would need to go 9-6 the rest of the way just to reach 10-10.

We are going to breakdown this matchup further and also throw out some predictions, but first, here is some of the key game info such as how to watch and stream:

Get to know Penn State

While Nebraska has struggled recently, so have the Nittany Lions, who are now 0-4 in the Big Ten and 7-8 overall. Penn State is still 61st according to Kenpom, which shows the depth of the league. Nebraska is ranked 16th.

Penn State isn’t a team that scores the ball very well. In fact, they rank 308 in the NCAA in scoring with just 68 points per game. Lamar Stevens and Rasir Bolton, who average 18 and 13 points per game respectively, are the two double-digit scorers to worry about. As a team, the Nittany Lions are shooting 41 percent from the field and 31 percent from 3-point range, which ranks them 302nd and 293rd.

With a poor offensive team coming to Lincoln, the Huskers should roll. But before we make any assumptions, there is a look at storylines, keys to victory and a prediction.
