Nebraska football has three incoming freshmen playing in the All-American Bowl Saturday and here’s what to watch for.
When it comes the All-American Bowl, a high school All-Star game, Nebraska football has three elite players you can keep an eye on in Wandale Robinson, Bryce Benhart and Ty Robinson.
All three of those guys signed with the Huskers during the early signing period and Saturday they will battle it out with other top prospects from around the country, some that are committed and some that aren’t.
One of those uncommitted guys is Noa Pola-Gates, a target of Nebraska football. He’s a guy Husker fans should keep an eye on, however, you should also keep your eyes focused on the three guys we know will play for the Big Red next season.
Here is a look at what to watch for with each player.
S/O to our guys playing in today’s All-American Bowl. Good luck fellas. ✊

Wandale Robinson (East #13)
When it comes to Robinson, I just want to see the ball in his hands. I’d like to see him get some chances as both a runner and receiver in the game but he is listed as wide receiver on the East roster who knows. Either way, it will be fun to watch him work and get the ball in his hands.
Ty Robinson (West #87)
Wandale Robinson is on the East squad, but Ty Robinson will be on the West team with the other Huskers and Pola-Gates. Robinson is a 6-foot-6 defensive end and of course, it will be interesting to watch him work against the other offensive lineman from the East. I am hoping to see him get some pressure and hold up well against the run. Those are two things Nebraska football needs.
Bryce Benhart (West #68)
With Benhart, it will be much of the same as with Robinson. It will be interesting to see how Benhart handles pass rushers. He was recruited as a tackle and at 6-foot-8, 305 pounds, he seems perfect for the position. If he can hold up on the edge against edge rushers and get some push, it will be good news for the Huskers.
Overall, it will be exciting to get the first glimpse of each player. You never know how many opportunities each individual will get and usually with these kinds of things, the week of practice tells you more than the game.
However, if you want a preview of three of the top players from Nebraska’s 2019 class, then tune in at 12 CST to the All-American Bowl.
