James Palmer is the key

For Nebraska basketball, there are a lot of different keys and it seems foolish to boil it down to one thing, but if the Huskers are going to win tonight, James Palmer has to have a big game.

In the six 50/50 games Nebraska has played so far this season, they are 4-2. In the wins, Palmer has been incredible, scoring at least 20 points in each win and averaging 27 points. He scored 30 against Creighton, 29 against Oklahoma State and Seton Hall, as well as 20 against Clemson.

On the other side of things, in the defeats to Texas Tech and Minnesota, Palmer scored a total of 24 points for an average of 12. For most players, that is still a decent scoring average but for Nebraska to win games like this, Palmer needs to be special.

Palmer has already shown he is All-Big Ten material, but with a big game tonight in a win, he would start making a pretty good case to be an All-American, maybe even more.
