Huskers get key still guys at every position

When you look at the offensive players Nebraska football signed, there are two that stand out above the rest and one is quarterback Luke McCaffrey, while the other is four-star running back Wandale Robinson.

These are two of the Huskers most high-profile recruits and they have gotten that attention for a reason. McCaffrey is a dynamic athlete and has tremendous bloodlines. He has two brothers that have played in the NFL, including Christian McCaffrey — his Dad, Ed McCaffrey played and won multiple Super Bowls in the NFL and his brother Dylan, is the backup at Michigan but also waiting in the wings to be the next starting quarterback.

McCaffrey might be doing the same thing at Nebraska. He might redshirt next season to preserve a year as he waits for Adrian Martinez, but he’s legit and he keeps the quarterback group strong.

Robinson will help the Huskers immediately and with his ability to catch, as well as run, Frost is going to have a lot of fun. Other skill guys like receivers Darien Chase (6-1, 185) and Jamie Nance (6-0, 160) should have a chance to make an impact down the road. Another key guy in this class will be Dedrick Mills as soon as he signs. Looks like he will, but nothing is official for the running back who could fill the power role of Devine Ozigbo next season.
