It’s early national signing day and good or bad, it will be a big day for Nebraska football. Follow here for live updates and tracking of LOI’s.

Good morning Nebraska football fans and welcome to one of the best days of the year. It’s early national signing day and with some big commitment decisions looming, it’s a huge day for the Huskers.

While some of the guys that are up in the air like Ty Robinson (12:45 CST) Lloyd Summerall (10 AM hour CST), Brant Banks (10:30 AM CST), and Jimmy Fritsche (11:00 AM CST), others are already a done deal. Currently, Nebraska football has received 20 letters of intent and that’s about what is expected. There should be 21 total if no one else is added today. Desmond Bland will sign but closer to national signing day according to Husker Extra.

Throughout the day, the Nebraska football program has been announcing guys on Twitter and one of the best things was seeing Wandale Robinson’s name, one of the guys Husker fans are over the moon about.

Robinson committed to Kentucky before flipping to Nebraska. He now plans to enroll early and already he is repping the Big Red.

There are a lot of names to be excited about in this 2019 recruiting class for Nebraska, but another one that fans are stoked about is Luke McCaffrey, who could eventually be the next star at quarterback after Adrian Martinez leaves. He also got his letter of intent sent in early this morning.

The only player that Nebraska has yet to hear from is running back Dedrick Mills. The other commits have signed. The Huskers will now wait for four key decisions. The first will come sometime after 10 AM with Summerall, who doesn’t look like a strong bet to choose Nebraska.

Robinson and Fritsche are probably the most up in the air. Nebraska is fighting Alabama and USC among others for Robinson while duking it out with Clemson for Fritsche, who is from South Carolina.

Announcements are starting soon and follow below for live updates:

12:53 CST: Robinson is coming to Nebraska

The Nebraska football program really wanted Ty Robinson, the four-star defensive end from Arizona and it sent the entire coaching staff down to visit him in order to keep Alabama or USC from stealing him away. On Wednesday, Robinson committed to the Huskers, proving once and for all, the move by Frost and company was a success.

11:30 AM CST: Huskers beat out Clemson for Fritsche

Fritsche is a guy that has tons of potential. He’s a tight end/offensive lineman and he’s a guy that Nebraska football sees as an offensive lineman, maybe even a left tackle. His footwork is great and the fact that the Huskers held off a late charge from Clemson, especially since he is from South Carolina.

Big win for Scott Frost and company.

Update 11:00 CST: Brant Banks commits

The first two announcements are in the books and it’s a mixed review. Nebraska football lands defensive lineman Brant Banks while missing out on Summerall.

10:10 CST: Mills will still sign just not today

Dedrick Mills will not be signing today with the Huskers. It doesn’t mean he isn’t going to come to Nebraska football but right now, according to Husker Corner alum Brandon Cavanaugh, there is an issue with Mills transcript and that will delay his signing, although Cavanaugh indicates Green is still expected to be a Husker.
