3-star offensive tackle Jimmy Fritzsche

While the Huskers have already added four offensive lineman and three offensive tackles to their 2019 recruiting class, another hog molly Nebraska football is trying to bring into the fold is 3-star, South Carolina offensive tackle, Jimmy Fritzsche.

For quite some time, Nebraska football has seemed like a strong bet to land Fritzsche and he is scheduled to make an official visit on Saturday.

However, Fritzsche, who is from South Carolina, also just paid a visit to Clemson Thursday and that could be a game changer when it comes to his recruitment. Fritzsche tweeted how excited he was to get the offer and it will be interesting to see if he wants to stay in state.

As Nebraska fans, you have a good idea of how strong that in-state pull can be, however, Clemson is a little different than the Huskers. Yet, staying near home and getting the chance to play for an annual national championship contender might be too much to pass up. Fritzsche may sign next week or he could delay his choice until February according to Husker Extra.
