Frost is an obvious reason to give thanks

This is one that probably every Nebraska football fan would agree with. Frost is the prodigal son and the fact that he came home has been a dream come true.

Certainly, the 0-6 start was disappointing, but Nebraska needed a culture change. Sometimes, things have to get worse before they get better and that was the case in Lincoln.

There is a reason so many players left the program and even with all that, if Adrian Martinez been able to play the entire game against Colorado and against Troy, I firmly believe the Huskers would be 6-5 right now.

The win over Michigan State was impressive, the 2019 recruiting class is the fourth-best in the Big Ten and ranks 21st overall. There is no reason Nebraska football can’t have the success programs like Wisconsin, Michigan State and Iowa have all had.

If those schools can win conference titles, get into the playoff conversation and get to major bowl games, Nebraska can too and it feels like Frost has the Huskers headed in that direction.
