Palmer continues to impress

Early on against Seton Hall, Nebraska struggled to score the ball and that led to a tight, back-and-forth game for most of the first half. In fact, the Huskers led just 22-20 when Palmer finally connected on his first field goal of the game.

That bucket made it 25-20 Nebraska and at the intermission, the Huskers were in front 33-27. In the second half though, Palmer really took over. He scored 18 points in the second half of the game and his second trey of the night came when Seton Hall was back within two at 44-42.

Palmer didn’t shoot the ball that well from the field, making just 7-of-20 field goals and 2-of-8 shots from beyond the arc. Yet, he got himself to the charity stripe 18 times and connected on 13 of those attempts.

Palmer also did plenty of distributing too, dishing out six assists and helping facilitate the offense along with Glynn Watson, who scored 14 and had eight assists. Overall, it was an impressive night for Palmer because he scored 29 points and didn’t even have his “A” game.
