Nebraska will continue its defensive dominance

For people that don’t know, this Nebraska basketball team has the potential to be really good. The Huskers play defense, they have playmakers and now, they are shooting the three as much as teams like Michigan and Villanova.

It’s hard not to be excited about what Nebraska head coach Tim Miles has cooking. However, when it comes to Seton Hall, the key to winning will be defense.

According to Kenpom, Nebraska has the No. 32 adjusted defense in the country, while Seton Hall ranks 56th on offense. The Pirates do have a couple of stellar players, particularly Powell. Last season though, the Huskers ranked in the top 100 in points allowed per game and coming into tonight, they lead the nation.

The average will obviously inflate after taking on the Pirates, but still, Nebraska will make Seton Hall work hard to reach 60 points and in my opinion, they definitely won’t reach 70. Nebraska is better than people think and tonight, on the defensive end, the Huskers will prove it.
