Stanley Morgan adds to his legacy

Like Ozigbo, Stanley Morgan Jr. is doing his best to close out his days as a Nebraska football in the best way possible and in his second-to-last home game, he had a heck of a day with eight receptions for 131 yards and two touchdowns.

On the first drive of the game, Morgan caught a touchdown pass from Martinez that went 37 yards and really set the tone for the game. Then, with the score tied up at 14-14, Martinez threw another touchdown pass to Morgan, which was just one of many big plays throughout the day between the two.

Obviously, Morgan is going to be playing in the NFL next season. He’s just too good not too. But it has been a pleasure watching him these past few seasons. Last year, he had 986 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. This season, he will hopefully get 1,000.

Frost said he wanted to get Morgan to 1,000 yards and now the senior is up to 856. With two games left to go, he will need an average of 72 receiving yards per game and here is hoping that he gets it.
