After a 0-3 start, people are starting to wonder where the Nebraska football team’s sense of urgency is, especially if bad practices are still a thing. That and other kernels in this morning’s Go Big Read.

There has been a lot of talk about players buying into what Scott Frost and company are selling. With the noted exception of a few, it doesn’t feel like the Nebraska football team is actually doing a lot of buying.

That’s disconcerting considering what we were hearing all offseason. The “change in culture” everyone knew needed to happen? The team assured us it already had.

It makes sense that there isn’t that buy in yet. At the same time, others are pointing out, when you’re talking about having a bad practice on the last day of game prep, you have to wonder where the urgency is and why you’re still looking for it.
