The Colorado Buffaloes are well aware that the Nebraska football team has lodged a kind of complaint about the hit on Adrian Martinez. They have responded.

There has been quite a bit of talk about the Nebraska football team and what happened in their game against the Colorado Buffaloes. The Cornhuskers has even gone so far as to submit a tape of the hit that injured Martinez to both the Pac 12 and the Big 10 conferences.

While some Husker fans are expecting action to be taken against the player they believe hurt Martinez on purpose, it appears the Buffaloes are looking just to move on. Colorado head coach responded late Monday night to the reports and seems to think his player or players did nothing wrong.

Mike Macintyre issued an official statement where he said:

"“I was made aware that Scott Frost and Nebraska submitted a play for review with the Pac 12 conference office. Our athletic department officials have had conversations with the conference office; no one has been suspended and we are moving forward.”"

This is likely not going to sit well with Husker fans who were hoping Colorado would do the “right thing.” While Frost has said he has tape and an angle that isn’t available to the public, the angle that is available to everyone is plenty damning.

When you watch Adrian go down, it really does look like a Colorado player is twisting parts of his leg in order to try and hurt him. The fact that Martinez did come up as injured is only adding fuel to that fire.

For his part, Scott Frost said he was done talking about the injury during his Big Ten conference call on Tuesday. It appears, either way, the Nebraska football team is looking to put the situation to bed.
