Nebraska football didn’t play on but there was a ton of action in the Big Ten. Upsets, near upsets and complete domination, remake the power rankings heading into week 2.

The Nebraska football team didn’t get to play a game. That means they also didn’t get to show off their power.

The team was pretty hyped up, as you can tell from the video and photos going around the internet. It’s a shame the game got canceled instead of rescheduled for Sunday.

The Cornhuskers didn’t get to show just how good they can be yet. The rest of the conference was very busy starting on Thursday night.

Once the action began, there were some serious doozies. There was a bit of everything once the games began.

Some of the top teams took care of their business. When it came to Maryland, they took care of business most people didn’t expect them to do. It means the Terapins beat Texas for the second straight year.

Nebraska fans certainly took a great deal of joy in watching Texas fans start a season they began in the Top 25 at 0-1. If the Cornhuskers didn’t get to play in a game, then watching the Longhorns lose is a nice consolation prize.

When looking at the power rankings, there weren’t a ton of big moves. That’s usually the case when you’re talking about week 1 and a conference full of teams you know pretty well.

That doesn’t mean there weren’t at least a couple of teams that dropped and fell depending on their performances in their season openers. Without further ado, check out where the Nebraska football team falls, as well as the rest of the schools in the Big Ten Power Rankings heading into week 2.
