Speaking of interesting developments at the receiver spot, check out the spot on the depth chart that has Mike Williams starting and Andre Hunt backing him up.

One is a true freshman who has clearly impressed the coaches. The other is a JUCO transfer who is living up to his hype.

Both of those things are good for the Cornhuskers. It’s still pretty interesting to see a position on the chart where there isn’t a single returning Husker, let alone returning starter.

Look up and down the chart, you won’t find another position group where you can say that.

Obviously, it’s not like the coaching staff is leaving the newcomers out to dry. That’s the third wide receiver position on the list. They’ll have the support to learn and grow. It’s still interesting to see just how the Nebraska football coaches have grouped the players.
