The Nebraska football team is going to have to make a decision on the quarterback soon. That and other kernels in today’s Go Big Read.

Nebraska football head coach said back when fall camp started that he wanted to pick a quarterback a week before the first game. We are now just over a week away from the first game.

Frost also cautioned that his pick would likely not be coming much earlier than that. It has not.

Thursday brings one more scrimmage and it seems likely that whoever performs best in that will officially have the inside track on the starting job. Read about that and more kernels in this morning’s Go Big Read.

At least the Nebraska football team didn’t lose a player this time because of the depth chart. Gotta feel bad for Barnett.
