Nebraska Football: Scott Frost’s top 5 quotes of the off season

The funny one comes from the beginning of Nebraska football’s Fall camp. This is what Frost had to say when asked about the quarterback competition:

"Have you ever played Monopoly? You know how the race car, and the horse, and the iron, and the battleship are all on Go to begin with? Everybody’s on Go right now. We might even roll a dice to see who can roll a 6 and take the first rep."

Nebraska Football fans got a kick out of this one. Comparing a division one quarterback battle to a board game seems ridiculous but it got the message across, which made it funny.

There were still three quarterbacks that were all neck and neck at the time Frost said it. Tristan Gebbia, Adrian Martinez, and Andrew Bunch started Fall camp with even reps. The bulk of the reps are now being given to Gebbia and Martinez.

A starter is expected to be named about a week before Akron on September 1st. We’ll soon know the tycoon that comes out on top of this game of Monopoly.
