Rush Limbaugh is likely going to surprise Cornhusker fans as well. The long time talk radio host is more than just a talk radio host.

He’s got millions of fans, who all tune in daily to hear him espouse his political views, usually those that tend to veer to the far right. Husker fans come in all shapes and sizes and even someone who follows politics as closely as Rush are known to be sports fans as well.

Limbaugh is a bit different from most sports fan politicos. When he was a younger man, he worked for the Kansas City Royals. He also had a stint on ESPN.

Even when he’s not working in the sports world, he’s still a fan. Limbaugh has been seen attending more than one Nebraska football game over the years.

He’s also made comments on his show that show he’s followed the program pretty closely. It’s a safe bet that if Scott Frost can bring the program back, we’ll be hearing Rush Limbaugh talk about the team more often.
