Nebraska basketball: Trio of prospects get new attention, offers from Huskers
Donovan Williams might not have an official offer from the Nebraska basketball team but apparently the program is quite interested in paying a visit to the Texas guard to see what he can do.
247Sports seems to know what Williams has to offer. They’ve rated him as a 4-star prospect through that sites composite ratings.
Despite that high rating, Williams has seven offers. He’s the seventh ranked player in the state of Texas for the 2019 class and the 16th best shooting guard.
That’s why it’s unlikely he’s going to be holding at seven offers. As a matter of fact, there is a slew of teams that are apparently going to be taking another look at this guard.
Jake Weingarten of Elevate Hoops reports that Williams is getting looks from Arizona State, Miami, Illinois, Villanova, Missouri, Minnesota, Texas Tech, and “many others.”
It’s a distinct possibility that the Nebraska basketball team is going to get a big fat zero when it comes to these offers. There is an old adage, that in order to get the best, you have to go after the best. Tim Miles and company are certainly going after the best.
