Nebraska recruiting might be in the middle of a dead period but they’ve still got a commit and a couple of offers out there in the ether.

It’s not a stretch to say that Nebraska recruiting has had a very good June. That’s not even just talking about the talented players that have committed this month.

In general, the Nebraska football team appears to be on a roll when it comes to its approach to recruiting. That’s why when you see a Georgia-based safety come up with a Cornhuskers’ offer, it’s a safe bet the player is plenty talented.

Jamal Hill does indeed appear to be plenty talented. A three-star prospect from Morrow, Georgia, Hill can now count 32 total offers.

That’s quite the tally when you figure that

247Sports

has him rated as the 91st best player in the Peach State. It goes to show just how talent is in that area.

It’s safe to assume being measured as having a 40-yard dash of 4.45 certainly helps his rating. The fact that he’s managed to play both free safety and strong safety in his high school days means he’s able to hit pretty well too.

Having speed and the ability to hit has led to some of the best teams in the country to come calling. Alabama and Michigan are among the teams the Cornhuskers are going to have to go up against.

Indiana and Rutgers are also Big Ten suitors for the safety. Interestingly enough, neither Georgia nor Georgia Tech has offered Hill yet. This might be the case of there just being too much talent in the state for their recruiters to get to him yet.

With 32 offers, it is interesting neither of the big home state schools has come calling. Neither the Bulldogs or the Yellow Jackets making an official offer yet is only good news for Nebraska recruiting efforts when it comes to Jamal Hill.
