Kenny Bell is the only Nebraska football wide receiver on this list twice. That’s how good he was for the Cornhuskers with very little fanfare.

The Colorado product quietly dominated opposing defenses during his time in Lincoln to the point where the case could have been made to put him on the list three times.

The 2012 season was likely the best of them all. His 50 catches put him just outside the Top 10 in Cornhusker history for receptions in a season. They were also the second most in his entire career.

The 863 yards that year were easily the most in his career. Those numbers are also 6th all-time for a single season at the school.

Bell showed he could turn a catch into big-time yards that season as well. His 17.3 yards per catch have rarely been seen for the Huskers, especially when you are talking about someone who was pulling down as many passes as he was.

Then there are the eight touchdowns in 2012. Those are a career best and one of the best season performances for a wide receiver in Lincoln.

Everything in those numbers says that Kenny Bell is one of the most underrated wide receivers in Nebraska football history. Perhaps in a few more years people will start giving him his due.
