The Nebraska football team hasn’t been one that has had a ton of great seasons by wide receivers. That’s why when they do, it’s notable.

In the history of the Nebraska football team, there have been a few seasons posted by wide receivers that stood out. At the same time there aren’t all that many seasons that are among the best of the best.

That’s why when a wide receiver does put up numbers that stand out, they really stand out. Receivers who are able to operate in this offense, and the offenses that have come before it, it’s a site to behold.

It’s likely that now that Scott Frost is here, an offense that focuses on putting the ball in the air is here to stay. That means this list is going to be changing in the next few years.

Maybe it won’t. Maybe the numbers that were put up by the guys on this list are impressive enough that they will stick for a while.

After all, while no one for the Cornhuskers have ever come close to putting up 100 catches, there have been some seasons where they were among the best in the college football world.

So now it’s time to check out the best seasons put up by a Nebraska football wide receiver in the history of the program. Make sure to check them out and let us know if you think we’ve missed one, or think that the order needs to be fixed.
