The Nebraska recruiting efforts have been paying off big-time of late. Can the Husker coaches continue their run with DJ Graham?
When it comes to the Nebraska recruiting efforts, there isn’t much that’s gone wrong lately. Scott Frost and the rest of the staff have been on fire.
Their latest target, a wide receiver in the 2020 class is going to put their run of good luck to the test. DJ Graham was offered earlier this week by the Huskers, but the team has a steep hill to climb if they want to win the battle for his services.
Graham is a four-star prospect according to 247Sports. The Texas product isn’t one of those “flying under the radar” type prospects either.

The player already has 14 offers, including several from the best teams in the country. Notre Dame, Georgia, and Oklahoma have all offered Graham, who also plays cornerback in high school.
247Sports has him listed as the 29th best player in the state of Texas in the 2020 class and he’s the 21st best athlete in that group. If there is a piece of good news, it’s that so far, there aren’t many Big Ten teams that seem to have caught onto DJ Graham.
At the moment, the only B1G conference team that has offered Graham outside of the Nebraska football squad is Indiana. Despite that development, it certainly seems like it’s only a matter of time before Ohio State and Michigan jump on the bandwagon.
At the moment, the front-runners for the athlete appear to be Notre Dame and a real darkhorse candidate in SMU. There’s plenty of time for the staff to change the heart and mind of Graham. The nice thing about this staff is that when it comes to the job of Nebraska recruiting, it doesn’t appear anyone is completely out of reach.
