While Rahmir Johnson appears to be sold on the Nebraska football team now, there was a time when they were likely on the outside looking in. The Cornhuskers didn’t offer the running back until December.

It was probably a March visit that really swung Johnson to the Huskers. The running back took in Lincoln and all the Nebraska football team had to offer during Junior Day and as Rivals reports, he liked what he had to see.

It appears that once he got to see the program up close and personal it burrowed into his mind. That was the beginning of the whirlwind romance.

The second step in this rather quick courtship came just four days ago. That’s when Johnson announced the schools he was still considering.

The running back has 15 total offers this year. Those offers are from all across the country.

When he announced his final four, it meant the Cornhuskers were going up against Ole Miss, Rutgers and Boston College. Apparently that final four wasn’t as close a race as some might have thought.

It didn’t take Rahmir Johnson long to pick the Nebraska football team once he had narrowed down the schools he was looking to commit to.
