The Nebraska football team wants to get as many backs as possible in the 2019 class. They made the cut for one of the best on Monday.

Rahmir Johnson was ready to cut down the teams he considering committing to on Monday night. Nebraska football managed to get inside the New Jersey running back’s top four and now has to be considered the favorite to win his services.

The back considered the 19th best player at his position in the entire 2019 class by 247Sports, has 15 total offers. He announced on his official Twitter account that he was down to Rutgers, Nebraska, Boston College, and Ole Miss.

Among those four, it seems as though the Cornhuskers are in very good shape to get themselves a four-star running back who has blazing speed. In addition to the cut-down, Johnson said that he was going to be committing “soon.”

His apparent lean towards the Cornhuskers comes despite the fact that Johnson is out of Hackensack, New Jersey. That’s in the hunting grounds of Rutgers.

We still don’t know exactly when Rahmir Johnson is going to be pulling the trigger. Whenever he does, it appears it could be quite the coup for the Huskers.

While the Nebraska football team has gotten a few commits this year, they haven’t landed any the caliber of a four-star running back who is considered the 6th best player in the entire state of Rutgers.
