Nebraska football is trying to steal an offensive tackle from Texas A&M.

If there is one group of players that took some steps during the Spring Game it was the offensive line. While they allowed a few too many sacks, they were clearly having some success run blocking.

Despite those strides, the Cornhuskers are looking hard to bring in as many talented offensive linemen as they can in the 2019 recruiting class.

To that end, one of the most anticipated visitors on Saturday was lineman Hayden Conner.

Conner is a Katy, Texas native who is currently carrying seven offers. That includes plenty of Power 5 teams.

247Sports thinks that Conner is a pretty heavy Texas A&M lean. It’s possible that’s changed a bit this weekend as the offensive lineman tweeted out that his visit to Lincoln was “unreal.”

The Cornhuskers still have a bit of an uphill climb when it comes to luring the player to Nebraska.

They’re going to not only overcome Texas A&M but schools like Miami, Missouri and Kansas State.

Considering that the Spring Game had more people come to the scrimmage than any other school in the country, there’s a chance Conner is going to realize that there are few atmospheres as good as what the Nebraska football team has to offer.
