Nebraska football: Spring Game visitors react to the day
The Nebraska football team hosted a swath of recruits on Saturday. Several of them reacted to what they saw and took part in at the Spring Game.
The Nebraska football team put on quite a spectacle on Saturday. The Cornhuskers’ Spring Game was the most attended of any Spring Game this year.
Among the people who attended the game was a ton of recruits Scott Frost and company are hoping will fall in love with the atmosphere in Lincoln.
While gamedays in the fall have been big-time recruiting tools for the Huskers. It looks like the Spring Game is going to turn into something special as well.

The prospects that attended the game were from all over the country and across a ton of different classes. A ton of in-state recruits were in attendance to watch the scrimmage.
There were also a ton of different JUCO visitors. And then there were 2019 prospects that got to take in what the gameday atmosphere in Lincoln from a firsthand perspective.
After the game was over, a number of the Husker recruits were willing to share what they thought of the event and their visit. If those reactions are any indication, it looks like having kids down for the Spring Game is going to be a thing for years to come.
Now the Nebraska football team needs to find a way to close the deal with some of the better players in the country. The Spring Game is only going to be an effective recruiting tool if the fallout from a visit means that there are going to be some commits.
