The Nebraska football team has another confirmed visitor for the Huskers’ April 21 Spring Game. This time it’s a 4-star linebacker from Florida.
Nebraska football has long known that its Spring Game is a heck of a recruiting tool. While the bloom has come off the rose a bit in recent years, this year’s game could be a spectacle Husker fans haven’t seen in quite some time.
Already sold out, there’s going to be plenty of eyes on what the team looks like under native son Scott Frost. Among the watchful eyes are going to be a ton of the Cornhuskers’ top targets.
That group now includes 4-star outside linebacker Ge’Mon Eaford. Eaford announced he had confirmed a visit to Lincoln for the Spring Game on his Twitter account Wednesday morning.

The Deerfield Beach, Florida player is considered the 11th best outside linebacker in the 2019 class according to 247Sports. He’s also the 23rd best player in the state of Florida.

While the Huskers have been offering and receiving some commitments from a couple of diamonds in the rough, Eaford is certainly not one who is under the radar. The linebacker is sporting 44 total offers now.
Those teams include Florida, Florida State, and Alabama. Ohio State, Michigan State and Penn State are in there as well. It’s going to be a long slog before the Cornhuskers have any idea where he’s going to go.
The visit to Lincoln on April 21 comes amid a spate of campus trips. In March, the recruit looked at Florida Atlantic, Auburn, Florida, and Miami. The trip to see the Nebraska football team is going to be a bit different because it will absolutely be the furthest North he’s come to see a campus this year.
