Nebraska football makes the cut for top Connecticut player
The Nebraska football team made the top ten teams list for one of the best players in Connecticut and one of the best athletes in the class.
The Nebraska football team got a new commit Monday and later that night they ended up in the Top 10 list of schools for one of the top athletes in the country.
Marquis Wilson announced the schools he is leaning towards at this point in time and the Cornhuskers made that group. Wilson, who is the second-best player in the state of Connecticut is a 4-star prospect according to 247Sports.
In high school, Wilson has played both wide receiver and defensive back. Both of those are positions of need for the Huskers, though he hasn’t said at what position the Cornhuskers might be looking at him for.

Not only is Wilson the second best player in the state of Connecticut, he’s also the 24th best athlete in the class. The fact that Wilson has included the Huskers on the list of teams he’s favoring is good news.
Insiders believe the Nittany Lions are the squad to watch in this particular contest. Having said that, Wilson has scheduled one of his official visits.
He will be visiting Ohio State this weekend. That means that if the Nebraska football team is going to get an official visit of their own, they are going to need to hustle and work hard.
