One Nebraska football target wants to pick his school soon, but isn’t going to pick just to pick.

When it comes to deciding where a recruit is going to school, it seems as if everyone has a different approach. Nebraska football target Andrew Kristofic wants the process over as soon as possible.

The 3-star offensive lineman recently talked to Land of 10 and laid out how his recruiting process is going. The Gibsonia, Pennsylvania native told the site that he really doesn’t want to go into the season still looking at teams.

At the same time, the lineman isn’t going to commit to a school just to get it over with. “Whenever I do pick a school, that’s going to be my school and there won’t be any changes. I’m also not going to wait around once I feel like I know for a fact where I’m going and where I want to spend the next few years. I won’t hesitate to make it official.” He said.

That could be both good news and bad news for the Cornhuskers. Nebraska offered Kristofic on March 13 but they appear to have their work cut out for them.

The lineman comes from a football family and his father played at Pitt. Ohio State and Wisconsin have also been recruiting the talented prospect hard.

247Sports’ crystal balls have it as a three-way race between those schools. The Nebraska football team is going to have to work hard to get a foot in the door.

This is one of those times when you wish the kid was talking about waiting until later in the winter. At the same time, it’s possible the Cornhuskers can make a very good impression and sway him quicker.

So far, there isn’t any indication on when or if Andrew Kristofic might visit the Nebraska football program in Lincoln.
